Can Venezuela reclaim a future where its citizens can prosper once again? Throughout the 20th century, Venezuela thrived on its vast oil reserves, becoming one of Latin America’s richest nations. But beginning in the 1970s, political upheaval, corruption, and authoritarian rule, most notably under Chávez and Maduro, led to the economic collapse of a once-proud country. 

It has been a few weeks since the tragic death of Rob and Michele Reiner.  I wanted to think deeply before speaking about this loss.

Charlie, why did this happen? I first saw Charlie when he appeared on Fox & Friends in 2012.  I wasn’t paying close attention, only had the news in the background as I often did at that time.  I looked around the corner when he was introduced just out of curiosity as this was an 18 yr old high school student with two of his fellow classmates.  From the time he opened his mouth to the last words that he spoke on that interview, I did not close my mouth.  I was truly AMAZED!

For many years in my (adult years) lifetime, I have recognized the liberal bias in America. It (the bias) was at best subtle. What use to be hard to call the media out on, exact and specific instances, is now so prevalent that it can’t even be called journalism.
