Democrat Voters, What Are You Going to Do Now?

The Democratic Party has made its choice. The big tent they keep bragging about now openly includes socialism and the DSA has been inside it for years. Their co-chair said it out loud on national TV, abolish the Senate, replace the presidency and Supreme Court, partial government ownership of corporations and businesses, end ICE, defund the military, and eventually get rid of prisons and borders. Those are just the highlights, that’s the goal.
IT’S NOT JUST A FEW DSA MEMBERS!
This isn’t a fringe group anymore. They’ve got over a hundred thousand members, mayors, city councils, and a growing pipeline of candidates. The Democratic Party opened the door and the socialists walked right in.
Just this month, the House voted to condemn socialism, 192 Democrats voted against it, only 8 crossed over. The rest said no thanks to denouncing the very movement that’s reshaping their party.
Don’t be fooled by the small numbers. The DSA Democrats, the Omar and Tlaib wing, (The Squad),may be few, but in a close House or Senate vote, a handful of votes decides everything. When the margin is one or two seats, those few DSA votes become the deciding block and the whole chamber moves their way. Small numbers today, big leverage tomorrow.
BIG TENT, SAME CIRCUS
Here’s the thing about a big tent. You don’t let a wolf into the sheep pen and then act shocked when the sheep start disappearing. When you refuse to condemn socialism and some of the platform items listed above, you’re accepting them. Silence is consent.
The big tent talk has been around a long time. The party that defended slavery, ran the Confederacy and enforced Jim Crow later rebranded itself as the party of inclusion, redefining “Big Tent” in the early 70’s as a fancier name for the same old dodge, using “we welcome everybody” to paper over its internal contradictions ever since. Since then it’s been moderates, then progressives, and now extremists, same tent, same pattern, and now look where we’re at.
So here’s the question, if you vote Democrat tomorrow, what are you actually signing up for? The answer might surprise you and it might not be what you think.
“YES, I VOTED FOR TRUMP. THAT’S NOT THE GOTCHA YOU THINK IT IS”
I know, someone with TDS is going to say I voted for Trump, so I’m part of whatever Trump is. But I didn’t vote for Trump the man. I voted for Trump the platform and the policies. He’s rough around the edges, rude, antagonistic, a braggadosa, he says things no other president would say and the decorum crowd hates him for it, but the platform he and the Republicans stood behind is what I signed up for. Secure borders, energy independence, a military that deters instead of apologizes, school choice, judges who read the Constitution as written, America First and voter ID with proof of citizenship. That’s what I signed up for and that’s what they’re still fighting for.
Democrat Voters, What Are You Going to Do Now?
The contrast isn’t subtle. Democrats want to abolish ICE, open the borders and treat voter ID like a hate crime. Republicans want the opposite on all three. Democrats treat biological sex as a suggestion in sports and prisons. Conservatives understand identity, how someone sees themselves is their business, but identity doesn’t rewrite biology. An XX is a woman, an XY is a man and no amount of paperwork or surgeries changes that. Democrats want to defund and demilitarize. Republicans want a military built to win, not just to exist.
SOCIALISM VS CAPITALISM
The platform is the promise and that’s what I signed up for.
The United States is the strongest country on earth, highest wages, highest incomes, highest net worth, lowest poverty rates, the most powerful military and an industrial base nobody has ever matched. Our judicial system isn’t perfect, but it’s the only one that lets you point at its flaws and demand better and we do, constantly. So why trade that for socialism, the same system that’s never worked anywhere it’s been tried, just communism with a softer name?
THE 2028 REALITY CHECK, TRUMP’S OUT, SO DROP THE TDS
Trump isn’t up for election again, but the Democratic Party can’t seem to get past him. They’ve built their whole identity around Trump Derangement Syndrome, anger without a platform, outrage without a plan. They’ve got a list of things they’re mad about, but no policies, no ideas, no answers for what actually needs to happen. TDS keeps the anger going and keeps everyone sidetracked from the fact that they have nothing to offer.
Be careful what you’re voting for. The big tent today isn’t the big tent of fifty or sixty years ago, it’s got socialism inside it now and pretending otherwise is just putting your head in the sand. Accepting them into the tent and thinking you can control it is naive. You’re signing up for the DSA’s long-term plan and it’s growing. Open borders. No prisons. No Senate. No presidency. And a government that wants to own private industry. It’s not a secret anymore, it’s on their website and the Democrats who refused to condemn it last month just accepted it.
You know what you’re voting for. They’ve told you.
